Why Work With Us?
Active Consideration has been created by James Dickinson to bring lessons from addiction, trauma and recovery to the corporate world. Whilst not all of us have experienced clinical addiction, there are common 'addictive' patterns like overworking, competition, bullying, anxiety and stress which play out within individuals, teams, organisations or even entire sectors.
Active Consideration employs physical, environmental, (w)holistic and talking interventions to break through toxic patterns. It's easy to block out experiences which have shaped our behaviour or seek external solutions to internal problems. You won't get that here. No leadership tools and techniques. No skills-based or 'soft skills' training. Active Consideration is about creating deep and immersive experiences to stop, gain awareness, make choices and transform from within.
James brings together a range of specialists and collaborators tailored to the level of impact you want to expose your team to. Active Consideration retreats are based around three levels of experience reflecting the depth of exploration and transformation desired:
REPAIR & RESURRECT
Our deepest experiences where we get real and personal. Bravely exploring our unique wounds and patterns to transform together.

REFLECT & REIMAGINE
Transforming teams and relationships by venturing into deeper awareness. This could include team constellation exercises and coaching.

REVIVE & RESET
Quality time away from the office, based in nature with thought provoking and nurturing activities, talks and pampering.

Expect experiences like no other Corporate training/away day. From conservation projects designed to rewild the environment and the humans within it, to group and individual coaching and mentoring, to immersive physical experiences such as breath work, sound bathing and surfing. Active Consideration takes a (w)holistic approach, understanding that mind, body and spirit all play a part in our personal stories and growth.

Diverse experiences and practitioners template a live metaphor for fostering diverse approaches and membership within the corporate team. Diversity is good for business by enabling psychological safety, experimentation, innovation and strength to stand out from the crowd.
